Just Two Days Remaining to File Corporate Income Tax and Assets Tax Returns – Deadline April 15
With only two days remaining before the April 15 deadline, Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is reminding corporate taxpayers to file their Corporate Income Tax and Assets Tax returns to avoid interest charges and penalties.
With only two days remaining before the April 15 deadline, Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is reminding corporate taxpayers to file their Corporate Income Tax and Assets Tax returns to avoid interest charges and penalties.
Following recent legislative adjustments, all companies operating in Jamaica are now required to file their annual Corporate Income Tax return for the Year of Assessment 2025 by April 15.
To improve convenience and reduce wait times, TAJ is encouraging taxpayers to utilize its range of electronic payment options:
- Online payments via TAJ’s website at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm using credit or debit cards
- NCB Online Banking
- Scotia Online Banking and Mobile App
- Direct Funds Transfer (DFT)
TAJ also reminds corporate entities that the April 15 deadline applies to the following returns:
- AT02 – Assets Tax Return
- IT02 – Company Income Tax Return
- IT04 – Life Assurance Companies Income Tax Return
- IT12 – Registered Charities Income Tax Return
- IT15 – Special Economic Zone Income Tax Return
- IT03 – Unincorporated Bodies (e.g., building societies, trusts, co-operative societies) Income Tax Return
Corporate entities are required to file their returns using TAJ’s online platform at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm.
