Montego Bay Tax Office Closure

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) wishes to advise the public that the Montego Bay Revenue Service Centre will be closed for business from Monday March 9 to Wednesday March 11, 2020. During this time, persons are being advised to visit the Falmouth, Lucea and St. Ann’s Bay Tax Offices to conduct their usual transactions.

The closure has become necessary as the Tax Authority takes corrective measures to ensure the well-being of its staff and customers, by working with other state agencies and external experts to carry out assessments and deep cleaning activities of the office spaces. The Montego Bay location is expected to reopen on Thursday March 12, 2020 when persons can conduct their usual transactions.

Taxpayers are reminded that several transactions may be conducted using TAJ’s tax portal at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm , these include filing, payment, and property tax querying.

Tax Administration Jamaica wishes to apologize for any inconvenience caused, as it takes the necessary precautions to ensure a safe environment for its team members and clients.
