Month-end Saturday Opening resumes at Select Tax Offices

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) advises the public that month-end Saturday openings will resume at select Tax Offices. However, the previous every-Saturday arrangement has been discontinued; only month-end Saturdays will now be offered.

Since the December month-end Saturday fals on the Christmas weekend, the following Tax Offices will instead be open Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.:

• St. Andrew (Constant Spring)
• Kingston (Down Town)
• Montego Bay (FCJ Building, 11–12 Almond Way, Montego Bay Freeport)
• Mandeville
• MayPen
• St. Ann’s Bay
• Brown’s Town

Please note that the Portmore Tax Office will not be open on December 20, 2025. Additionaly, no Tax Office will operate on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in keeping with TAJ’s holiday weekend policy.

Available Saturday services include: 

• Motor vehicle transactions, including electronic motor vehicle registration
• Driver’s licence renewals
• Property tax payments
• TRN applications
• All tax and fee payments

Compliance and Audit services are not available on Saturdays. 

TAJ encourages customers to take advantage of these openings, which help ease weekday month-end traffic and improve service access.

Taxpayers are also encouraged to use TAJ’s secure online payment options:

• Scotia OnLine and Mobile App
• Direct Funds Transfer

Payments can be made for Payrol Deductions, Income Tax, Consumption Taxes, Trade and Business Licences, Stamp Duty, Transfer Tax, and other business-related taxes.
