TAJ Reopens Additional Offices on Monday, November 3, 2025

In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, Tax Administration Jamaica is continuing in its efforts to restore services and has been able to reopen several additional offices. Following comprehensive assessments, repairs, clean-up operations, and ICT restoration, effective Monday, November 3, 2025, the following offices have resumed operations:

 Mandeville Revenue Service Centre (both Tax and Business Office)
 Annotto Bay Tax Office
 Port Maria Tax Office
 Port Antonio Tax Office
 Lionel Town Tax Office
 Port Morant Tax Office
 Morant Bay Tax Office
 Linstead Tax Office
 Stamp Duty and Transfer Tax Office – Air Jamaica Building

The additional reopening follows the resumption of services last Friday at the Kingston, St. Andrew, Portmore, Old Harbour, and Cross Roads Tax Offices, the Large Taxpayer Office (Kingston), and business offices located at Oxford Road, PCJ Building, Ocean Boulevard, Stores Newport West, and TAJ’s Corporate Office at East Street.

As restoration of power, water, and connectivity continues across the island, additional offices are expected to reopen throughout the week. Updates will be provided to the public as they become available.

During this period, customers are reminded that a wide range of online payment and filing services remain accessible, including:

 TAJ’s Website: www.jamaicatax.gov.jm — for mandatory electronic filing and payments
using credit cards or bank cards with credit features
 Direct Funds Transfer (DFT) — for business-related tax payments
 Scotia Online and Mobile App
 National Commercial Bank (NCB) Online Banking Platform

Additionally, customers may use TAJ’s website to:
 Pay for fitness certificates
 Settle Property Tax obligations
 Pay traffic ticket fines
 Renew private motor vehicle registrations
 Pay for renewal of driver’s licences

Please note that individuals who renew their driver’s licence online may operate their vehicle with the receipt and expired licence for up to 60 days. However, they must submit the required application form and passport photo to have the physical licence card printed.
