Recruitment Scam Targets TAJ

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) wishes to advise the public that it is aware that a scam is underway, purporting to be a recruitment activity being conducted by the Authority. TAJ takes this opportunity to unequivocally disassociate itself from the fraudulent activity, and any associated material or tools being circulated in the digital space.

Tax Administration Jamaica has taken the necessary steps to alert the relevant authorities, advise staff of current developments and to ensure that members of the public, have access to legitimate communication from the organization concerning the matter.

Members of the public are further advised that the Tax Authority does not conduct its recruitment processes in this manner, and is in strict adherence to the recruitment guidelines of the organization and Government of Jamaica, to ensure transparency, fairness, and equity.
