Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is advising that the Santa Cruz Tax Office has been closed for business today. This is as a result of recent severe weather impacting power supply in the town and damage to the standby generator at the Tax Office, resulting in service being heavily compromised at the location.
Taxpayers are being advised that they may conduct their usual transactions at both the Black River and Mandeville Tax Offices or online at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm. Additionally, staff of the Santa Cruz location is being redeployed to bolster personnel at these locations to ensure a smooth flow of customer traffic.
Tax Administration Jamaica apologizes for the inconvenience caused. The public will be advised through the media of the resumption of services at this location.
