TAJ advises of Restoration of Driver’s Licence Validation System

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is pleased to advise members of the public that the system used to validate Driver’s Licences has been fully restored.

As a result, all previously affected services have resumed normal operations both online and at the Revenue Service Centres (RSCs) and Tax Offices.

These include online services:

• Driver’s Licence payments
•  Traffic Ticket payments
•  Processing and payment of Private Motor Vehicle Registration

In-office (inline) services:

• Driver’s Licence processing and payment
• Traffic Ticket payment

The Tax Authority thanks its customers for their patience and understanding during the
period of disruption and apologises for any inconvenience experienced. TAJ also advises that delays may be experienced as the team works to process the backlog, which came as a result of service interruption.
