TAJ Apologizes For Online System Error

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) wishes to advise the public that it is aware that difficulties were experienced with making property tax and traffic ticket payments on its tax portal during the period Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 7:00pm to Thursday April 28, 2016 at 9:30am. The problem was identified and is being addressed by the service provider.

TAJ is assuring the approximately one hundred (100) affected taxpayers, that the situation will soon be regularized with the reversal and crediting of excess credit card payments as well as the updating of taxpayers’ information. Customers, who believe they may have been affected by this system error outside of the identified period, are being asked to contact the Customer Care Centre to have the issue logged for investigation and resolution.
