TAJ Launches Project to Modernize Enterprise Portal and Enhance Customer Experience

Kingston, Jamaica — Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has officially launched a major project to migrate its Enterprise Portal to a new, modern platform.

Kingston, Jamaica — Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ)  has officially launched a major project to migrate its Enterprise Portal to a new, modern platform. The initiative, which began on Thursday, March 5, 2026, marks an important step in the organization’s ongoing digital transformation and commitment to improving service delivery for taxpayers.

The six-month project is being undertaken in collaboration with True Logic Ltd. and will result in a comprehensive facelift of the current TAJ website. The new  platform will modernize the site’s look and feel while significantly enhancing accessibility, functionality, and overall user experience.
Once completed, the upgraded portal is expected to deliver several key benefits for customers, including:

  • Improved mobile rendering for seamless access across smartphones and tablets
  • Greater browser compatibility to ensure reliable performance across multiple platforms, including for IOS devices.
  • Seamless integration with TAJ’s core Revenue Administration and Information System (RAIS)
  • Upgraded security features to better protect user information
  • Enhanced reporting tools for improved data access and analysis
  • Deployment of cutting-edge technology designed to provide a more
    intuitive and efficient user experience

Speaking at the launch event, Hank Williams, Deputy Commissioner for Strategic Services, described the initiative as a significant milestone for the organization. Explaining that, “This project is happening at an important time for Tax Administration Jamaica. It will provide our valued customers with a better user interface and an improved online experience,” he said. The enhanced website is expected to be rolled out by September 2026, following the completion of the design, testing, and migration phases of the project.

TAJ emphasized that feedback from both staff and customers will play a critical role throughout the development process to ensure the new platform meets the evolving needs of its users.

This is aligned with TAJ’s mandate in the administration of domestic taxes in Jamaica and its commitment to delivering efficient, transparent, and customer-focused services that support national development.
