TAJ to Offer Limited Services at Stamp Office on Monday, August 9, 2021

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is advising that only limited services will be offered at the Stamp Duty and Transfer Tax Office, located at 111 Harbour Street, Kingston on Monday, August 9, 2021. On that day, due to internal administrative arrangements, staff numbers will be insufficient to provide the full range of services normally offered at that location.

The Stamp Office will however operate a skeleton staff to deal with time sensitive matters that require Stamping and Delivery.

Special arrangements have been made to accommodate ALL payments at the nearby Kingston Revenue Service Centre, 1 – 3 King Street, Kingston. Customers who visit the Stamp Office to make payments will therefore be redirected there. The necessary COVID-19 protocols that have been implemented for the safety of staff and clients will be observed.

The public is also reminded that customers can make payments for stamp matters at any Tax Office or online via the TAJ Tax Portal at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm, once a case number has been assigned. Additionally, the usual Stamp services are still available at the May Pen Tax Office and the Montego Bay Revenue Service Centre.
