Motorists to experience delays with Motor Vehicle Title Issuance
Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) wishes to advise the public that delays may be experienced over the next few weeks, in obtaining a motor vehicle title.
Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) wishes to advise the public that delays may be experienced over the next few weeks, in obtaining a motor vehicle title. These delays are the result of technical difficulties being encountered with the printing of the titles.
The overseas based service provider dispatched a technical team, which visited the island recently to assess the problem and have begun to take steps to address same.
Individuals requiring a motor vehicle title to conduct transactions with a financial institution, may contact the Tax Office where the application was made.
TAJ apologizes for any inconvenience this system fault may cause, as it works to resolve the issue and work with the service provider to implement the necessary fixes in the shortest possible time.
