Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) wishes to advise the public that they continue to experience a shortage of Private Motor Vehicle Licence Plates at its offices across the island, as they have not received the expected delivery from the local supplier.
The local supplier has advised that that there is a further delay in the supply of raw material, which is sourced from the overseas. Following discussions, it has been confirmed that a shipment is expected in the island next week.
TAJ has put strategies in place to quickly distribute the licence plates to its various offices, once they have been delivered by the supplier.
TAJ apologises for the inconvenience caused and is working with our suppliers to have the matter resolved.
